 Kansas City is a vibrant city with a ton to offer, even if you're on a budget!  From exploring the outdoors to enjoying world-class museums, there are plenty of activities that are free in Kansas City to enjoy year-round. Check out some of these amazing options.

 

Date Nights

  • Stroll the Country Club Plaza: Window shopping, people-watching, and fountain gazing make for a romantic evening. Bonus points for grabbing a coffee and pastry to share.
  • First Fridays in the Crossroads: This art walk is a lively and free way to experience the city's creative side. Check out galleries, enjoy street performers, and soak in the atmosphere.
  • Sunset at the Liberty Memorial: The panoramic views of the city skyline are breathtaking, especially at sunset. It's a perfect spot for a quiet moment together.

Family Fun

  • Kaleidoscope: This free art studio for kids is a blast for all ages. Let your imaginations run wild with hands-on activities and creative projects.
  • Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead: Get up close with farm animals, explore a one-room schoolhouse, and enjoy the outdoors. Admission is free after 2 p.m. on weekdays.
