From illegal to essential, KC marijuana sales set to take off this summer

Apparently not even a pandemic can slow down the need for Kansas City residents to get their hands on some sticky icky. Dispensaries across the metro are still gearing up for a summer opening.

Some cities across the state have decided that marijuana dispensaries are not essential but KC is definitely not one of them. There are currently numerous businesses in the area preparing their facilities for the traffic expected.

Currently Missouri has about 45,000 medical marijuana patients approved and are adding about 1,000 a week. The map below shows all of the shops expected to open up by the end of the year.
