Empty roads means more space for student drivers

With driving instruction lessons being canceled and the roads as empty as they get, local teens are taking advantage of the space and getting some extra practice on the roads.

Local driving classes have not been deemed essential during the COVID-19 pandemic and it presents the perfect opportunity for some old fashioned learning. Many parents consider it a time to bond and teach some good driving habits. Others cringe at the very idea of teaching a teen to drive but are doing it just the same.

The kids seem to be taking it in stride and are using the extra time and space to their advantage. With everything on hold for the foreseeable future we may just be raising the safest generation of drivers in history. As always, be safe and stay KC Strong.
