New Alpha-Lit sign “LONG LIV THE CHAMPS” up this weekend

Union Station will be displaying a new sign this weekend from Alpha-Lit “LONG LIV THE CHAMPS”. This weekend is also the last chance to see the Super Bowl banners, exterior banners, and special lighting.

There will also be a meet and greet and poster signing with Mitchell Schwartz from 10:15 AM till Noon on Saturday. Tickets are $25 and include a “Sea of Red” poster. You must purchase the tickets in person at Union Station. They only made 140 tickets available and are most likely sold out. I’d check before hand if you’re planning on going down.

The photo opp we’ve all been waiting for

It’s official! The Kansas City Chiefs are world champions! The people from Alpha Lit Marquee have another sign up in Union Station to celebrate. Union Station is open regular hours today until Midnight. The championship banner is up on the outside of the building and the Chiefs sign in Grand Hall is still available. Updates on the hours for Tues and Wed are coming soon.

Popular photo op locations get extended for Chiefs fans

By now you’ve seen the signs all over social media throughout this Super Bowl run. If you’re anything like me you’ve probably said to yourself… “I need to get down to Union Station and grab some pics with the kids before they take those signs down.”

Well you’re in luck KC! The KC hearts Mahomes sign in Union Station was to be removed already but they have extended it through Friday night. They have also added another great photo op and have promised more to come.

The Chiefs Kingdom sign that was originally placed at Union Station and moved to Power and Light has been removed for now. After some intense detective work I have uncovered that the sign will be back to P&L next Wednesday and remain through the Super Bowl.
