Reports coming from ESPN this afternoon say that the Chiefs and TE Travis Kelce have reached and agreement on a contract extension. The extension is for another 4 years putting Kelce in Kansas City for another 6 years.
Money has not been finalized but it appears that Kelce will come in just shy of $15 million a season. This would put him just below SF tight end Kittle.
The news has Kansas City fans even more pumped for the upcoming season. Looks like this budding dynasty is going to run it back! Lets Go Chiefs!!!!!!
Money not finalized but expecting to come in just under Kittle’s $15M per year. Kelce in a different situation — turns 31 in October, third contract, keeping band together in KC a factor. https://t.co/ek5oGd8XcH
