Cities discuss ‘Reverse Parades’ for upcoming summer holidays

As the list of canceled Kansas City events grows, cities are exploring other ways to celebrate the upcoming summer holidays. Reverse parades are being planned in cities across the country to celebrate Memorial Day and July 4th.

Webster Groves, Mo has planned a July 4th parade to replace their usual celebration. The floats, located throughout the city will remain stationary for the parade and the visitors will drive the route.

This sounds like a great idea. I hope that some of the community leaders around the KC area take note and plan something similar. Would you drive a reverse parade route?
