One of the 8 Wonders of Kansas Geography, Mushroom Rock State Park has some of the most unusual rock formations around. The park is the smallest in the state but what it lacks in size it makes up in sights.
The unique rock formations are the remains of beach sands and sediments of the Cretaceous Period. The largest rock measures at 27′ in diameter.
