The Missouri School Board released a 96 page document on Tuesday that outlines it’s suggestions for a return to school in the fall. The document is to be used as a guide for local districts as they make arrangements.
Some of the suggestions put forth are causing concern for students and parents. The most troublesome is the recommendation to cancel or revise all choir, band, sports and orchestra.
The plan also mentions staggering lunch and recess times to limit the student interaction as well as providing hand washing times and sanitizing backpacks. All decisions will be made at a local level and they’ll be made soon. We’ll keep you informed as we learn about local district plans.
