Google has released a new website that uses anonymous location data taken from users of their products to show the varying levels of social distancing in different spots within a given community.
The data tracks changes in population behavior over a several week span as well as 48-72 hours prior. The site will initially cover 131 countries as well as individual counties in certain states.
The COVID-19 Community Mobility Reports website breaks down population trends over six categories: Retail and Recreation, grocery and pharmacy, parks, transit stations, workplaces and residential.
In a search this morning, Johnson County residents seem to be doing decent. They are going to parks like crazy though. Maybe this cold spell will keep people at home for a few days. Stay Safe. Stay Home.
