Many of you may have never heard of the Cedar Cove Feline Conservatory in Louisburg, Kansas. After the popularity of the recent Netflix special Tiger King we figured we would do a little more research. Opened in August of 2000 the parks website states that it is dedicated to the care and preservation of endangered large cats and educating the public on their behavior, physiology, habitats, and the dangers of extinction.

We checked out the reviews on both Google and Facebook as well as spoke to several people who had attended the park. From what we can tell, Cedar Cove is legit and does in fact take good care of the animals as well as providing education to the people that attend. Google had 412 total reviews with an average rating of 4.8 stars out of 5. Facebook had a total of 404 reviews with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Once this mess of a virus is past us we’re going to head on down to check them out ourselves. If anyone has visited the park or has a different opinion than the one we came to please let us know in the comments.
